The “Gazete Manas” Application Workshop, which allows students of the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Communication, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University, to develop their professional knowledge and skills in practice, offers an important area where theoretical education is integrated with practice. This application newspaper, where students actively participate in all processes of the newspaper from news source to publication, brings together future journalists with real publishing experience. Thanks to the 7 computers, blackboard and 8-person meeting table provided for students in the workshop, many practical activities such as news writing, editing and page design are carried out; a productive working environment is provided with a capacity of 20 people. This workshop allows students to develop both individual and teamwork skills and to produce within the framework of professional responsibility and ethical values.
The Radio, TV, and Cinema Department's Photo Studio is located in room C-101 within the Communication Faculty. Journalism Department students also benefit from this studio as part of their courses. Established in 2005, the studio is equipped with essential technical gear valued at $15,000. It serves educational purposes, allowing students to complete practical assignments and final diploma projects. Additionally, the studio hosts photography classes and can accommodate up to 20 people.
