Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department Data Science Laboratory (Room 325)

Purpose

The Data Science Laboratory was established in 2024 to help students learn modern information technologies, improve their practical data skills, and support both classes and academic research in the department.

 

Main Functions

  1. To provide students with fundamental computer skills relevant to the field of business,
  2. To contribute to the conduct of analyses in scientific research, statistics, and data science.
  3. To provide Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for applied courses,
  4. To prepare students for the modern era and professional life by enhancing their computer and digital competencies

 

Hardware and Technical Infrastructure

  1. The laboratory is equipped with 40 computers, one smart board, and one traditional whiteboard.
  2. It has a high speed internet access and network connection.
  3. The computers are installed with software such as office programs, databases, statistical and econometric analysis tools, and ERP systems.
