Traditional "Welcome to Engineering" Event at the Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering organized its traditional "Welcome to Engineering" event to greet its new students and ensure a motivating start to the academic year. The program, held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Congress and Culture Center, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, heads of departments, academicians, and a large number of students. The event both introduced new students to the faculty family and served as an occasion for existing students to socialize.
The program, which began at 4:00 PM, started with opening speeches by the Dean and department heads. The speakers emphasized the importance of the engineering profession to the students and wished them success in their new academic lives. Following the speeches, a ceremony was held where certificates were presented to students who had achieved success throughout the faculty. Feruza Tınıbek Kızı, Aygerim Bakaşova, and Mırzagül Stalbek Kızı from the Industrial Engineering Department were also among the students who received certificates for their outstanding achievements.
Following the ceremony, a quiz competition organized by the students added color to the event and created enjoyable moments. At the end of the friendly competition, various awards were given to the top three students. The event, which concluded at 6:00 PM, combined the solemnity of the official ceremony with the energy of the students, becoming an unforgettable memory for all participants and strengthening the sense of faculty belonging.
