As part of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a seminar titled “The Virtues of the Blessed Three Months” was held for women on 22 January 2026.
The seminar was organized by Camila Coraeva, a staff member of the KTMU Faculty of Theology, together with female students. During the event, Research Assistant Altınay Kurmanbekova delivered a lecture on “The Virtues of the Blessed Three Months.”
The seminar provided comprehensive information on the virtues of the months of Rajab, Sha‘ban, and Ramadan, which are regarded as blessed in Islam. In this context, the significance of Rajab as a period of spiritual awakening and repentance, the role of Sha‘ban as a preparatory phase for Ramadan, and the importance of Ramadan in terms of fasting and spiritual purification were emphasized.
At the end of the seminar, participants’ questions regarding the blessed months were answered.
Refreshments were offered to the participants following the event. Approximately 80 women attended the seminar, which was followed with great interest. The organizers stated that the program would continue every Thursday at the same time.
