Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Secretary-General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil held a breakfast meeting with the university’s security personnel, who are responsible for maintaining campus safety. The gathering reinforced a sense of institutional belonging and served as a tangible example of an inclusive governance approach encompassing all university staff. It also highlighted the importance of security services, working conditions, and institutional solidarity.
Emphasizing that security personnel are an indispensable part of maintaining a peaceful, safe, and sustainable academic environment, Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated: “Universities are strengthened not only through education, teaching, and research activities, but also by ensuring that these activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment. In this regard, the dedication and efforts of our security staff are invaluable.”
During the program, Rector Ceylan also listened to the views and requests of the security personnel, noting that feedback from the field provides essential guidance for university management. As suggestions aimed at improving work processes were recorded, the meeting underscored the importance of strengthening internal communication within the institution.
