Shining Star in Culture and Arts: Manas University Students Achieve Great Success
Students of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University achieved remarkable success at the “Ala-Too Zhazy” Youth Competition Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The festival, held on April 13–14, 2025 brought together 104 teams from 24 higher education institutions across the country, especially from Bishkek.
Aimed at showcasing the artistic talents of youth and promoting the preservation of traditional cultural heritage, the event featured competitions in a variety of categories, including vocal arts, original compositions, folklore, instrumental performances, and choreography.
The team representing Manas University, comprising dancers, komuz players, and vocalists received top scores from the jury for their outstanding performances. Their impressive showing earned them second place in the competition, along with a second-degree certificate of achievement and a cash prize of 200,000 soms.
