Current ecological status of the Sary-Chelek reserve
The seminar addressed the current ecological status of the Sarı-Çelek Biosphere Reserve, as well as its unique natural ecosystems and biodiversity. Particular attention was paid to the ecological condition of the lakes, the importance of forest and mountain ecosystems, and endemic and rare plant and animal species. The effects of climate change, anthropogenic factors, and conservation measures implemented to protect the reserve were also discussed. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazgul İmanberdiyeva emphasized the importance of scientific monitoring and sustainable management in ensuring the ecological sustainability of the reserve.
