Student Conference 'Path to Science – 2'
On April 8, 2025, the Philology Department of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyrgyz-Turkish University 'Manas' hosted the student scientific conference 'Path to Science – 2'. The event opened with welcome addresses from several university leaders: First Vice-Rector, Associate Professor Almaz Ibrayev, Ph.D. in Political Sciences; Head of the Philology Department, Professor Burul Sagynbaeva, Ph.D.; and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Acting Associate Professor Kairat Belek, Ph.D.
In their speeches, they highlighted the importance of scientific research in today's world and wished students success in their academic pursuits and professional development.
The plenary session featured presentations by students from the department's three programs: Russian Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, and Chinese Language and Literature. Students delivered papers in various languages, addressing contemporary issues in linguistics and literature. Following the plenary session, the conference broke into five separate sections. Students presented their research findings and participated in a paper competition. All participants received certificates, with winners taking home special prizes.The 'Path to Science – 2' conference proved to be a significant event that allowed students to showcase their academic potential, share knowledge, and take a confident step into the world of scientific research.
