Evaluation of the 2026 Unit Goals at the Faculty of Communication
At the Faculty of Communication of Kyrgyz-Turk “Manas” University, work has begun to determine the faculty’s goals for 2026 in accordance with the university’s Quality Management System, strategic plan, and continuous improvement approach.
During the meeting attended by the faculty members, the faculty’s priorities in education, research, internationalization, digitalization, and societal contribution were reviewed within the framework of the KTMU-PR-YON-12 Goal Setting Procedure. The goals prepared based on the KTMU-FR-YON-18 Unit Goal Setting Form were evaluated, and performance indicators, measurement methods, timelines, and responsible units were clarified.
In addition, the meeting addressed topics such as increasing the faculty’s academic productivity, expanding practice- and portfolio-based education models, strengthening international collaborations, and ensuring sustainable digital visibility for the faculty. It was emphasized that the established goals would be monitored throughout the year to provide data for the Internal Evaluation Report (IER) processes and to support quality assurance mechanisms.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis that these efforts, carried out with a participatory and transparent management approach, will continue under the strategic guidance and institutional support of KTMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, with the aim of strengthening the institutional capacity of the Faculty of Communication and contributing to the university’s quality-oriented vision.
