Visit of the delegation from the Department of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic
On January 30 2026 Erdenet Kasymov, Director of the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic and Aisulu Abakirova, Head of the Department of International Relations, visited our faculty. During the visit, potential joint projects related to tourism in Kyrgyzstan were discussed with the dean's office and department heads. After the meeting the faculty's laboratories, workshops, and classrooms were shown.
During the visit, the faculty exchanged views on the development of Kyrgyzstan's tourism sector with University Vice-Rector Ismet Altyntash, and potential areas of cooperation were discussed. At the end of the program, Mr. Kasymov presented the university with 40 copies of the magazine "Travel and Leisure," dedicated to winter tourism in Kyrgyzstan. Our dean, Prof. Nurudin Kydyraliev, presented him with books containing the results of tourism projects, as well as a gastronomic map.
