A trip to Gulzar orphanage
On April 5, 2025, teachers and students of the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, as part of the university's community service project, visited the "Gulzar" orphanage in Issyk-Ata district and held a charity event. Currently, 115 school-age girls are being raised in the orphanage.
After meeting and getting acquainted, the children were shown a promotional video about our school, and the teachers of the department gave advice and expressed their wishes to the children to become educated and well-mannered people. Our students presented them with concert numbers and organized various interesting games.
In order to interest children in reading and encourage self-development, a competition called "Books are the food of knowledge" was announced among students. Along with sweet gifts, the children were given the books "Pollyanna" and "Why do we need to read books?". The results of the competition for these books will be announced in a month and the winners will be awarded prizes.
