During the visit to Akmullin University between November 11-14, 2025, the team from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University was welcomed by the Vice Rector of BDPU, Svetlana Garaeva, and the BDPU International Relations Office team. Initial assessments were made regarding potential joint projects between the two universities. Discussions and Identified Areas of Cooperation: During the visit, a meeting was held with the BDPU Rectorate, and it was stated that a budget was ready to be allocated for joint projects. Identified priority areas of cooperation:
- Research on environmental problems in the Issyk-Kul region,
- Complex analyses of Issyk-Kul, especially in biological terms,
- Joint conduct of studies on aquatic ecosystems and environmental biotechnology.

Academic Mobility Issues: During the discussions, opportunities for student and faculty exchange programs were evaluated in detail, and the parties exchanged views on conducting these activities within the scope of the Orkhon Exchange Program or in accordance with special agreements to be made between the two institutions. During the visit, the Universal Pedagogical Competencies Technopark, laboratories, educational research centers, and existing technological infrastructure of BDPU were also examined on-site. During these examinations, comprehensive ideas were exchanged on joint projects that could be implemented between the two institutions. The process includes cooperation opportunities in areas such as educational technologies, teacher training, digital learning tools, and innovative pedagogical practices.

Preliminary Evaluation Studies and Scientific Presentations
Prof. Dr. visited Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University during the summer term. The initial results of algological analyses conducted by Natalya Suhanova on samples taken from the Issyk-Kul region were evaluated during the visit. Preliminary ecological and algological assessments of the samples were carried out, significantly contributing to the shaping of joint research planning. Additionally, Assistant Professor Dr. Ruslan Adil Akay Tegin gave a seminar on "Gut Microbiota" and presented scientific papers on relevant biological approaches. This session laid the groundwork for expanding the scope of planned joint studies in the fields of biology and ecology between the two institutions.

Conclusion and General Assessment

The visit was extremely productive in terms of developing long-term and sustainable academic cooperation between the two universities. The budget support provided by the BDPÜ administration demonstrates that joint studies can be strengthened with concrete research outputs. It is anticipated that comprehensive research on the biological aspects of the Issyk-Kul region and bio-ecological studies will provide significant scientific contributions to both institutions.
Within the scope of planned joint projects, it is expected that several doctoral and master's studies will be conducted together, contributing to the development of academic staff. Furthermore, utilizing the Orkhon Exchange Program and including related communities such as Bashkortostan within the program will further enrich the quality and scope of academic mobility.
