On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:40 PM, a seminar titled “How Does the Holy Qur’an Introduce the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?” was delivered at the Faculty of Theology of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) by Prof. Dr. Ömer Çelik, a distinguished scholar known for his significant contributions to the field of Islamic studies.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, Advisor to the Rector of KTMU, Prof. Dr. Hasan Ayık Dean of the Faculty of Theology, along with academic and administrative staff, university students, and individuals interested in the field of theology.
During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Çelik thoroughly explored how the Holy Qur’an portrays the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), highlighting the aspects emphasized in the Qur’an and what his exemplary character means for Muslims. Drawing on Qur’anic verses, he elaborated on the Prophet’s moral stance, prophetic mission, relationship with the ummah, and his role as a model personality.
The seminar attracted great interest from participants, and a Q&A session was also held to address the audience's questions. At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat and Prof. Dr. Hasan Ayık expressed their gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ömer Çelik for his valuable presentation and presented him with a certificate of participation.
