Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan hosted Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci at KTMU. The meeting held at the rectorate office was attended by KTMU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karımşakov and Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, along with Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil.
The meeting addressed changing needs in higher education, the development of academic interaction between universities, and opportunities to leverage the scientific expertise of both institutions through joint studies.
Academic Expertise of Both Universities to Turn into Joint Projects
Following the meeting at the rectorate, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci met with members of the KTMU Senate. Potential academic and scientific collaborations between the two universities were evaluated during the meeting.
Discussions focused on developing joint research, increasing interaction among academics, sharing experience in education, and establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms for scientific work. The parties expressed their views that the academic capacities of both universities in different fields could be transformed into stronger scientific interaction through joint initiatives.

KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his pleasure in hosting Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci at Manas University.
Emphasizing the importance they attach to developing relations between Boğaziçi University and KTMU, Ceylan said: "We have long desired to host Boğaziçi University in Kyrgyzstan and at our University. We consider this visit an important step toward establishing a more systematic and sustainable structure for academic relations between the two universities. We hope that the foundation for cooperation we create will turn into joint research, academic interaction, and new scientific initiatives."

İnci: "It is Valuable to Closely Observe Manas University's Academic Expertise in the Region"
Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan for the invitation and hospitality.
Prof. Dr. İnci noted that Rector Ceylan is an important historian recognized in the academic world for his long-standing scientific work on Central Asian history, stating that seeing KTMU's academic capacity and regional position up close was valuable for them.
Drawing attention to the importance of translating the commitment to cooperation shown during the meetings into concrete academic studies, İnci shared evaluations regarding the development of projects that will bring together the scientific knowledge and experience of both institutions.
Academic Cooperation Protocol Signed
One of the most important outcomes of the visit was the signing of the Academic Cooperation Protocol between Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and Boğaziçi University.
The protocol aims to transform existing contacts between the two universities into an institutional and sustainable cooperation framework. In this context, it targets developing joint research activities, increasing experience sharing in education and scientific work, and creating new working models to strengthen academic interaction.
The signed protocol is also expected to generate new opportunities for joint initiatives that will contribute to higher education and scientific relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the program, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci also visited the Manas Media Center. İnci received information about the center's broadcasting infrastructure, practical training opportunities, and media production processes, and was introduced to KTMU's activities in the fields of communication and media.
