Rector Ceylan Met with Asım Öksüz, Yunus Emre Institute Budapest Coordinator

Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, met with Asım Öksüz, the Budapest Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute, in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

During the meeting, potential collaborations between Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and the Yunus Emre Institute in the fields of education, culture, and arts were discussed. Views were exchanged on carrying out joint activities for youth and students, alongside efforts to promote the Turkish language and culture.

The meeting also evaluated efforts aimed at helping students in Hungary get to know Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University more closely. Emphasis was placed on informing students about the university's educational opportunities and international student body, promoting Manas University as a viable option in higher education choices, and developing guidance services accordingly.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated that Manas University serves as an educational and cultural bridge not only between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, but also between the Turkic World and various regions. Ceylan expressed that developing collaborations with internationally active institutions like the Yunus Emre Institute would make significant contributions to strengthening this mission.

Furthermore, views were exchanged on increasing mutual visits, organizing joint cultural and educational activities, and raising awareness and knowledge of Manas University among young people in Hungary.
