The 23rd International Congress of Social Sciences of the Turkic World, hosted by the International University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, commenced with its opening session on October 15, 2025. Numerous academicians from Türkiye and the Turkic World participated in the congress both online and in person.
Participating online in the opening session, the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, emphasized the importance of academic collaborations carried out under the leadership of the Turkic Universities Union. Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated that Manas University plays a leading role in scientific research and knowledge production, noting, “As a pioneering institution in the production and sharing of scientific knowledge in the Turkic World, Manas University makes significant contributions to the development of academic cooperation.”
Within the scope of the congress, a total of 132 papers will be presented by experts in their respective fields, opening discussions on current research in the social sciences. Participants will evaluate the potential for scientific, cultural, and economic cooperation in the Turkic World and create new opportunities for joint academic projects.
