Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) proudly celebrated the graduation of its 24th semester students of the 2024–2025 academic year with a memorable ceremony held on May 28, 2025, at the Chyngyz Aitmatov Campus Open-Air Sports Field.
The ceremony was attended by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, vice rectors, directors of faculties and vocational schools, the Secretary General, diplomatic representatives from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, the TRNC, Iran, and Turkmenistan, representatives from universities across Kyrgyzstan, academic and administrative staff, members of the media, and families of the graduates.
30th Anniversary Graduation Ceremony
The ceremony coincided with the university’s 30th anniversary. The program began with a graduate parade and the national anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, followed by opening speeches from university leadership and honored guests.
Prof. Dr. Ceylan: “More Than Just a University”
In a heartfelt address, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan congratulated graduates and their families, emphasizing that Manas University is not only an educational institution but also a bearer of the cultural and civilizational values of the Turkic world: “Manas University is not just a university—it is a carrier of ancient values and a deep-rooted civilization.”
He reminded graduates that this day marks not an end, but a new beginning filled with responsibility: “Today is more than a graduation. It’s the beginning of a journey shaped by belonging and responsibility. As we mark our 30th year, we take pride not only in awarding diplomas but in graduating principled individuals ready to serve their communities.”
Prof. Dr. Ceylan extended his appreciation to the faculty and administrative staff for their valuable contributions.
He closed his speech with a quote from Chyngyz Aitmatov: “It is not only the place of birth that makes a person human, but also the values they uphold.”
And addressed graduates with a powerful message: “The Turkic World awaits you. Be a bridge. Be a seed. Be united. This is not a farewell—it’s a beginning.”
Prof. Dr. Ibraev: “You represent Manas University”
Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev shared the university’s commitment to innovation and academic growth, stating: “We are constantly striving to enhance the quality of education. Our mission is to prepare graduates who are competitive, capable, and globally minded.”
He emphasized that the graduates’ achievements reflect not only personal effort but also collective support: “This success is built on the dedication of our educators, the encouragement of families, and the bonds of friendship you have built.”
Diplomatic Guests Congratulate Graduates
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Latif Seyfaddin Oğlu Gandilov praised the students’ perseverance: “Your years of hard work have brought you to this proud moment. Now is the time to turn your knowledge into service for your country and humanity.”
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev offered his best wishes: “I warmly congratulate all graduates and wish you enduring success.”
Unforgettable Moments on Stage
The ceremony continued with the graduates oath and a performance of “Bayram Melody” by the Turkic World Orchestra. The Manas University Anthem performed by a choir, added to the emotional atmosphere.
Manas University, ranked among the top 1000 in the QS World University Rankings, continues to equip its graduates with the knowledge and confidence to shape the future.

Valedictorian Albina Satybaldieva placed her name plaque on the traditional graduation log and expressed gratitude to her teachers and family. Her mother also conveyed appreciation to Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan and the university community.

In a powerful closing, graduates declared in unison: “My labor; for my country, for my people!”
They then tossed their caps into the sky, accompanied by fireworks that lit up the evening. The celebrations continued with a concert featuring well-known performers, creating unforgettable memories for the new alumni.
