Academic Cooperation between KTMU and Uzbek Universities
On May 13, 2025, an academic delegation from Namangan State University and Fergana State University of Uzbekistan paid an official visit to Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
As part of the visit program, the delegation was received by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan at the university’s Rectorate. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation between the two countries, expand student and faculty exchange programs, and advance joint scientific initiatives.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating, “Such engagements among universities of the Turkic world not only foster academic collaboration but also promote cultural affinity. As Manas University, we are proud to contribute to this important process.”
Additionally, the visiting scholars from Uzbekistan participated in an academic seminar organized by the Department of History within the Faculty of Humanities. During the seminar, the visiting scholars engaged with students and faculty members, delivered scholarly presentations, and exchanged insights on current developments in their respective fields through interactive discussions.
