Senior lecturer of the Department of Turkic Studies PhD Negizbek Shabdanaliev conducted a seminar on the topic “Days of the week and their names”
On November 16, 2023, in Seminar Room 229 of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Negizbek Shabdanaliev, PhD, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Turkic Studies, held a seminar on "Days of the Week and Their Names." The seminar was organized as part of the "Seminars of the Department of Turkic Studies" series. The seminar examined the days of the week, their names, the reasons for the worldwide spread of the seven-day weekly system, and the role of religious beliefs in the formation of weekly systems and the names of the days of the week. At the end of the seminar, attendees asked questions and received answers.
