WELCOME PROGRAM FOR 1ST GRADES


On November 7, 2025, the Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, organized an introductory and entertainment program titled "Welcome to the RPD Family" for the first-year students of the same department's undergraduate program. The presenters first invited our Department Head, Prof. Dr. Yücel Öksüz, to the stage to deliver the opening remarks. Prof. Dr. Yücel Öksüz emphasized the importance of the department and the profession, emphasizing its uniqueness and uniqueness in Central Asia, and its importance as a crucial element and integral part of education in every field: family, school, classroom, society, career choice, academic success, self-awareness, and self-promotion. He wished the first-year students success. He then addressed the fourth-year students' class advisor, Instructor Dr. In her speech, Kadıyan Boobekova emphasized the dedication of all the faculty members who have worked tirelessly in the department's success. She noted that two students from the 13-year-old department received a Kyrgyz Presidential Scholarship, and one student graduated third in the university. She noted that this success stems from the significant contributions and hard work of all the faculty members who have worked hard to date. She emphasized that graduates of the department have no difficulty finding jobs, and that it is a highly sought-after department. She concluded by wishing the first-years success.

Prof. Dr. Akmatali Alimbekov also emphasized the importance of the department in his own speech, emphasizing the need for students to work diligently to be well-educated and to become among the best in their fields, and wished the students success. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ercan Gül also wished the students success. Prof. Dr. Professor Süleyman Barbaros Yalçın, speaking about the profession, said, "Guidance means touching people. It means touching their souls, and it is a sacred profession." He then touched upon the characteristics of the profession and congratulated the first-year students on choosing this department. Finally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti, who has made valuable contributions to our students by teaching in previous years, expressed the importance of the department in his own speech, expressing his hope that the students had chosen the right department. He wished them success.
In the next part of the program, the fourth-year students organized games for the first-year students, played the Komuz melody, and performed a dance.
Then, the students, who had studied at Turkish universities for one semester through the ORHUN exchange program, shared their own experiences. The activities, entertainment, and experiences of the fourth-year students during their student years were then captured through videos and pictures.
At the end of the program, gifts were presented to the first-year students, and a commemorative photo was taken, concluding the program.
