Faculty of Communication’s Curriculum Development Meeting with Stakeholders
The Department of Radio, Television and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication of Kyrgyz –Turkish Manas University held a consultative meeting on 9 December 2025 to gather stakeholder feedback as part of the university’s internal audit activities aimed at updating educational programs and enhancing their quality. The meeting was attended by Dr. Şirin Kostyuk, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication at Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University; Dr. Çınara Kaparova, Deputy General Director of the National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic; and Akcol Bekbolotov, a member of the Cinematographers’ Union of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the department’s curriculum was evaluated in line with graduates’ professional competencies, sector expectations, and the academic community’s perspectives. Stakeholders recommended strengthening new media and digital production skills, expanding cooperation with the industry, and increasing internship opportunities for students. It was noted that the remarks and suggestions recorded during the discussions will be taken into account in updating the educational program and revising the learning outcomes.
